Modules 1 & 2 Bowen Therapy Training
with Jonathan Damonte
Bowen Therapy is taught in 8 module classes of 2 days each. It can be learned comfortably in between 4 to 6 months or longer. The students can use and practice the procedures learned at each module immediately and you will be encouraged to do so as learning any ‘hands-on’ therapy requires constant practice and feedback. Each pair of modules is taught about a month or two apart to allow for this important practice.
Patient management is a key component of the course and time is allocated for lifestyle modification recommendations. Through case studies, both presented by instructor and brought to class by students.
Each new module provides a complete and ongoing review of the previously taught modules.
The 6th module is followed by an exam yielding a designation of CBP (Certified Bowen Practitioner).
The 8th module is followed by an exam yielding a designation of CBT (Certified Bowen Therapist).
Continuing Education credits are given by most professional associations in Canada and the US for the Bowen Therapy training.
Students come from many different backgrounds and practices, even different careers. As befitting Tom Bowen’s legacy all are welcome to take part in the training and many people take only a part of the training in order to care for family, friends and even animals.
